HOMESTAY

Homestay is an opportunity for you to live with a local family and experience their way of life. It is an ideal way for Australians to meet some locals and interact with some local golfers and it is also great for international students to learn the Australian lifestyle and also practice their English at the same time.

  • all homestay families undergo orientation and training
  • accommodation is of high quality and close to The Golf School
  • students are provided with single room accommodation that includes a bed, desk and wardrobe

Homestay provides breakfast and dinner meals on weekdays and 3 meals on weekends.

As all Homestay families live locally to TGS, drop off and pick up is also provided during Monday to Friday sessions.

There is an homestay coordinator who organises and monitors homestay accommodation for international students.

All Homestay families are screened by The Golf School. If they are taking in students under 18 they must possess a blue card, issued by the government commission for children and Young people and child guardian, as a check of anyone working with young children.

All houses have modern facilities such as ADSL broadband preference with full computer access.

The Homestay experience is something that the student will remember for the rest of their lives and it can develop great friendships. Regular communication with the students family is high on our priority.

WEEKLY UNIT RENTALS

The Units are located in the buzzing Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise on request.
