Student Recruitment

Students are recruited through the organisation’s website, agent network, industry advertising conventions and word-of-mouth. All recruitment is conducted with integrity and accuracy.

Student Enrolment

Enrolment procedures are outlined on the organisation’s website.

Upon receipt of the enrolment form, the Admissions Manager checks that all required details have been completed and that the application meets the entry requirements for the course applied for. If there is insufficient information, the student or agent is contacted and asked to provide the relevant information.

TGS will only enrol a student who has completed another relevant course (a course provided by a registered provider and listed on CRICOS) if TGS is satisfied that the student has demonstrated a commitment to studies in that previous course, had a good attendance record for that course, and had paid all fees for that course. If a student has not completed a previous course, the student is required to provide a letter of release from the previous provider attesting to these three matters.

Assessment of student’s qualifications and abilities and their academic and English language standards against entry standards for the course must be undertaken by a suitably qualified person.

On meeting enrolment criteria, the student details are entered and the student is enrolled in the requested course. A letter of acceptance and invoice is then printed and sent to the student or agent.

The student is advised in writing that it is the student’s duty to advise TGS of any change in their contact details.

As student file folder is created and all documents are placed in this folder.
